Chaguanas Regional Corporation Complex
As the largest and one of the fastest-growing boroughs in Trinidad and Tobago, Chaguanas will greatly benefit from the construction of a 35,000 sq. ft. complex which will house the administrative offices of the Chaguanas Borough Corporation.
The Chaguanas Regional Corporation Complex will allow citizens of this highly-commercialized, central community to gain access to local Government services at one convenient location in the heart of Chaguanas. The Complex will feature a three-storey structure, and green spaces for public use. The main building will be air-conditioned, wired for the most up-to-date communication networks, and will include fire detection, fire alarm and security systems. A new elevator will allow easy access to all floors. Other noteworthy features of this building will include: (a) A day care centre which will be housed in a separate building; (b) On-site parking to accommodate 127 vehicles; (c) Library facilities; and (d) A multipurpose auditorium. The Chaguanas Regional Corporation Complex is expected to be completed in 2008.
UDeCOTT is developing the structures that form part of Vision 2020,
the development plan of the Government of Trinidad and Tobago.
